Royal Jelly products badly need reviews!
There are many many creative names for the same bee product. Many dealers offer different variants, dossages etc. There are also many frauds on the market. In te future I’m planning on trying and reviewing every single one of them.

I just tried some Peking Royal Jelly and I must say that it is one of the most disgusting tastes ever. I thought royal jelly would be very sweet. According to some sites it is a royal jelly with honey and water mixed in. That probably explains why it has a highly liquid consistency. It definitely has a mild fermented odor. The sites do claim it has less than 0.5% alcohol. I know that honey is not supposed to ferment, so the fermentation in this product makes me suspicious.
Never having tasted royal jelly I’m not exactly an expert on the subject, but one would have to be very desperate to want to taste this Peking Royal Jelly.

Thanks Phil for your reply!
As I said. Reviews should be made! Big time!
When buying … search for keywords: fresh, no additives …
The best product on the market can be made from YOUR local beekeeper. Get in touch. It’s the same thing with honey and pollen products.
1. Go to the local farm you can trust.
2. Pay three times more.

I tried Beijing Royal Jelly that was given to me by a Chinese girl friend direct from Beijing.
Must have had something other than alcohol in it as I was over the moon for hours after taking just one viel. No more.
Honey will ferment. I use honey as part of the fermenting sugar in my home brew beer. 1/2 kilo honey & 1/2 kilo of Dextrose. Make a very sweet tastfull beer.

I think the royal jelly has been pretty good for me. It helped me with my energy and sped up my metabolism and even helped with my cravings and eating habits. I’ve lost 6 or so pounds in short time period, in conjunction with exercise. Pretty good. I think it helped with my immune system too. I usually get huge allergic reaction to mosquito bites but now they’re like the size of a pencil tip eraser. (instead of a melon) I highly recommend drinking the peking royal jelly if you’re feeling sluggish.

The Peking Royal Jelly several years ago used to be amazing: I was a loyal customer for a long time and it tasted great with that numbing sensation on your tongue which is typical of high quality, fresh royal jelly. It would bring my CFIDS/Adrenal fatigue depleted energy levels back to normal, for about 20 min energy per ampule. As of around 2005-2006 they changed the formulation and made the “new twist off lids” which will break you both nails and fingers if you’re not careful. the new formulation tastes foul, of burnt caramel, and has too low Royal Jelly concentration so that they don’t do anything at all for you. Not only that but I believe it not doesn’t have enough alcohol to preserve it so by the time it’s shipped from China it arrives in the USA completely expired and tastes of burnt rubber! The heat in the overseas shipping process completely destroys the product. Too bad: this is the only royal jelly I found that actually worked! The ones with ginseng in it dont’ do a damnn thing! :( As long as you read “new twist off lids” do NOT buy the Peking Royal Jelly in the white/red carton: they arrive from China expired and unfit for consumption. The after taste lingers for hours if you’re unlucky enough to consumme one. Stay away till they change back. Someone has a way to contact them in China?

Last year there was a documentary on how the bees in China have died, the beehive collapse syndrome and that men pollinate tree flowers by hand. Without bees there can be no Royal Jelly. I believe that the new formulation doesn’t contain more than a tiny drop or Royal Jelly because it would cost the Chinese too much. So now who knows what they put in those ampules? Whatever it is, it’s not fit for human consumption that’s for sure. It’s worse than bitter herbs, it tastes like someone regurgitated it in the ampules before packaging: it’s that bad! I contacted Superior Trading Co to make them aware of this. It’s impossible for them to still be selling this stuff. They’re probably trying to get rid of the few last cases that no one wants, that people return over and over again. Just my 2 cents.
