Is Bee Movie yet another war movie?

According to this Bee movie trailer, it surely looks so:

Why the heck do these bees in the Bee Movie wear guns?! Do we really need weapon to get the ratings? Isn’t there another way to show the bees life to the children? For instance, I remember from my childhood many friendly cartoons, like Biene Maya. And nowadays all they do in the cartoons is shooting. :(

Lavender honey is one of the best honeys

closeup-lavender-honey-bee

Living near Adriatic coast and islands I sometimes come across Lavender. It’s a beautiful bushy kind of flover with a very distinctive scent. In my country people use small lavender packs in their wardrobes. They use them to prevent clothes being eaten by bugs.

Among honey lovers lavender honey is very respected! Here’s a shot of my bees on the lavender.

Wasp eliminating

Wasps are one of the beekeepers’ greatest enemies.

This guy has an interesting way of dealing with wasp problem. At first I thought he was smashig bees, but then I realised it’s the wasp he’s dealing with. Well I use bottles with beer. Wasps like beer a lot! ;)

Hornets kill Bees in 3 hours

This masaquers are actually quite common in Japan. And I wonder … Japan has almost the same climatic conditions as Europe and North America. What if someone imports Japanese Hornets in Europe, US and Canada just like European honeybees were imported to Japan? That freaks me out!
