Royal Jelly turns the queen bee into a long living fertile super animal. But is it also good for YOU?
Years of beekeeping with Carniolians, first hand experience with various royal jelly products and a load of testimonials brought me to the conclusion something has to be done. And this is it. I dedicated this website to testing products and commenting royal jelly health benefits ...
1. She is a sister killer! When a young virgin queen comes out from her queen cell, she the killing instinct emerges. She checks out the entire hive and kills (stinges) every rival queen in the hive. Some of them are already around there searching for other queens. Some other are still unborn in their queen cells.
2. She mates with up to 15 male bees (drones) high up in the air. Virgin queen flies out up in the air where the drones are prepaired for their only life task. She mates for several days until she is full of sperm. She then stores this sperm from all the successfull drones in her body and is using it for up to 7 years of birth-giving.
3. The mother of all bees in the hive lays up to 2.000 (!!!) eggs per day.. This means that her daily egg output is heavier than her body weight! Imagine a woman giving a birth to 25 babies every day for seven years in a row :). Well.. this is the video of mother bee laying eggs:
This old beekeeper in the video is explaining in details how the royal jelly is produced in his behives. The jelly that these guys are producing must be of high quality since the environment that the guy is showing looks really pure and reach with orange and lemon trees.
Royal jelly has also been mentioned in many fiction stories. Roald Dahl’s story on royal jelly fed to a newborn child is creepy and actually in a thriller-movie way exagurates the effects.
… he admits that last year he turned over half his bees to the production of the jelly, which he consumed himself. He did it in the hopes that it would make him more fertile, and it obviously worked since he daughter was conceived not long after. Mabel suddenly realizes that her husband does really resemble a great big bee, and her daughter laying on the table looks like nothing so much as a gigantic grub. “Why don’t you cover her up, Mabel?” he says. “We don’t want our little queen to catch a cold. According to this Bee movie trailer, it surely looks so:
Why the heck do these bees in the Bee Movie wear guns?! Do we really need weapon to get the ratings? Isn’t there another way to show the bees life to the children? For instance, I remember from my childhood many friendly cartoons, like Biene Maya. And nowadays all they do in the cartoons is shooting. :(
Anyone seen this war-propaganda-pentagon-sponsored-bees-movie?

Living near Adriatic coast and islands I sometimes come across Lavender. It’s a beautiful bushy kind of flover with a very distinctive scent. In my country people use small lavender packs in their wardrobes. They use them to prevent clothes being eaten by bugs.
Among honey lovers lavender honey is very respected! Here’s a shot of my bees on the lavender.

According to 43things.com the most wanted personal goals are “loose weight”, “be happy”, “fall in love” and “stop procrastinating”.
I think the fourth is by far most important. Do something now and everything else will fall in place. This is the key to your happiness so make sure you fall and stay in love, be happy and loose weight. Bee products cannot help you if you are just watching them.
Start feeling responsible for your health and your happiness today. From now on replace sugar with honey, start your day with running and for god’s sake start eating royal jelly now. It will bring you enough energy to achieve all your other goals.
